Cognition

Physical education has the inherent capacity to facilitate development on all the channels. Mosston was intrigued and captivated by the educational possibilities that existed in physical education-no other field could so deliberately contribute such a wide set of developmental opportunities in every individual lesson.Deliberately designed decision making experiences in physical education have the capacity to actively invite students to think (cognitive channel) while moving (physical channel),and interact with others (social channel) while practicing fair play (ethical channel) and self-control (emotional channel).
